Training on Inclusive Business (IB) for CCDB Staffs.

A productive and fruitful training, titled “Training in Strengthening NGO roles in the Inclusive Business Eco-system” was arranged by CCDB for capacity building onInclusive Business (IB) Eco-system for the staffs of the organization at CCDB-HOPE Foundation. The 5 day-long (19-23 September) comprehensive training was aimed to introduce the mindset and building the capacity of the staffs to include Private Sector (PS) to the value chain and market system that the beneficiaries can sustain in the system functionally. Facilitators from FSAS-Fair and Sustainable Advisory Services, a consultancy organization founded by ICCO Cooperation, Hattie Walters- who is an expert on capacity development and learning and Nelleke van der Vleuten- who works as advisor on NGO-Business Relations and Inclusive Business, facilitated the training. We had a total of 17 participants from CCDB, 2 from ICCO-Cooperation and 1 from RDRS. The whole training was designed with thorough briefing on the Inclusive Business (IB) Eco-system modules, numbers of practical group exercise, role play and presentation. The second phase as a continuation of the training will be held on end of November 2015.
