Regional Enhancement for Climate Adaptation and Partnership (RECAP)
The Regional Enhancement for Climate Adaptation and Partnership (RECAP) is a multi-country project being implemented in a consortium approach. The Christian Commission for Development in Bangladesh (CCDB) is playing as the lead of the consortium of RECAP. The other three consortium partners are LAYA-Indian Network on Ethics and Climate Change (LAYA-INECC) of India; People, Energy and Environment Development Association (PEEDA) of Nepal; and Community World Service Asia (CWSA) of Pakistan. The project period is from 01 January 2025 to 31 December 2026 and is funded by Bread for the World (BftW), Germany.

The project is implementing comprehensive capacity-building interventions designed to empower the targeted organizations with the knowledge, tools, and strategies to minimize their technical and capacity gaps to mainstream climate change. The project will help the targeted CSOs/organizations of the four countries to minimize their networking and upscaling gaps for initiating climate action. The project will work to enhance the footprint of the targeted organizations for working on adaptation and mitigation and implementing projects in different sectors, especially in agriculture, water, nature-based solutions, and livelihood improvement, considering context-specific climate impacts.
