The purpose of the monitoring and engagement visit was to gain firsthand insights into the project’s implementation, achievements, and impact. The findings from the visit will help enhance the effectiveness of the Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP) and inform DFAT’s broader engagement with civil society partners.

During the opening session, ๐๐๐น๐ถ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ฒ๐๐ฎ ๐ ๐ฎ๐น๐ฎ๐ธ๐ฎ๐ฟ, Executive Director of CCDB, presented an overview of the organization’s journey since 1972, highlighting its ongoing development initiatives, long-standing commitment to empowering marginalized communities, and future strategic vision. She shared how CCDB has been working alongside disadvantaged people across Bangladesh to reduce poverty and improve their quality of life.

Following her presentation, ๐๐ฒ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ด๐ฒ ๐๐๐ต๐ถ๐ ๐ฆ๐ถ๐ป๐ด๐ต๐ฎ, Deputy Executive Director of CCDB, highlighted the diverse development programmes CCDB is implementing across the country’s districts. ๐๐ฏ๐ฑ๐๐น ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ถ, Project Coordinator of the CCDB-SLPFIVCD Project, conducted the inaugural session.
During the field visit, the DFAT delegation met with CCDB staff, project participants, and other stakeholders. They listened to community members’ experiences, observed project activities firsthand, and witnessed how the initiative is contributing to improved livelihoods, greater resilience, and positive social change among disadvantaged families.
