The Organization compiled with the registration requirement of Micro Credit Regulatory Authority (MRA), in order to initiate and operate economic development Program for sustainable opportunities, to raise income through provision of capital to resources poor families in selected locations. CCDB Micro Finance Program Reg. No.: 02636-03667-00295 of 25 June 2008 and become a member Credit and Development Forum (CDF).
Micro Finance Program is being operated on as small scale as an independent and seprate program. Presently CCDB Micro Finance Program (MFP) operates 27 Branch Offices in 09 Districts, 35 Upazilla, 141 Union and 885 Villages. MFP serving 11,313 female and 2,776 male members totaling14,089 members as individuals and members organized under 1,302 Samities.
Staff Strength: MFP currently has 161 regular staff, 31 contractual staff including 37 managerial staff 32 technical staff (Audit, Accounts & automation) 90 field workers and 33 support staff members, Female staff 38 and male staff 154 under micro finance program as on June 2025.
Program Automation:
CCDB Micro Finance Program embarked on accounting & portfolio automation in began in 2013 and successively brought all 27 branches office and Head office under the program. MFP step by step stopped using manual system of record keeping after commissioning of the wave base software in its branch offices and head office. Field organizers are collecting savings and loan money through tab and android phone. Members can regularly know their savings and loan instalment payment amount though mobile SMS.

Credit Support to Borrower
MFP has offered 6 types of loan product. These types are Micro enterprise loan (ME), Small and medium enterprise (SME), Rural Micro Credit (RMC) and Urban Micro credit (UMC) & Seasonal Loan (SL) and Business support loan (BSL). MFP captivating 20.00% to 23.35% (Decline Rate) service charge formal product of MFP.
Special Focus of Micro Enterprise Loan and Small and Medium Enterprise
Many borrowers have shown dynamisms to new opportunities to move ahead on the road to success in bigger ventures. CCDB Micro Finance Program provides larger loan called Micro Enterprise Loans and Small and Medium Enterprise to theses faster moving members. Development of Micro Enterprise Loans and Small and Medium loans was one of the most important objectives of CCDB Micro Finance Program. Many its borrowers set up farms (Like Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries) Mini workshops, business enterprise etc. Micro Enterprise Loan size 50,000 to 19,50,000 Tk and Small and Medium Enterprise loan size 20,00,000 to 50,00,000 Tk. Average loan portfolio size of ME loan Tk.1,72,000, SME Loan size Tk. 11,49,652, RMC Loan size Tk. 53,674 and UMC loan size Tk. 53,425 end of the year June 2025.

Income, Expenditure and Surplus
The income of CCDB Microfinance Program during 2024-2025 was 222.78 Millions. including service charges, form sales, member admission fees, bank interest and others income etc. The total expenditure of CCDB Micro Finance Program during 2024-2025 was 149.62 Millions. including personal expenses , financial costs, loan loss provission, general admin costs and others costs.

Member Welfare Fund -2024-2025
- • In the current financial year-2024-2025 a total of Taka 5, 30,000 (Five lac thirty thousands) has been paid 53 persons and Taka10,000 each for burial shroud.
- Heath Support and Others: 7,39,000 (Seven lac thirty nine thousand) Tk has been paid to 79 members for medical treatment for various ailments for the members from the member welfare fund during the current financial year.
- Loan waive: Total of taka 28, 97,973 (Twenty eight lac ninety seven thousand nine hundred seventy three) loans were adjusted for 54 borrowers under member welfare fund.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR):
- MRA MFIs Higher Education Scholarship: Since 2021 CCDB Micro Finance Program providing scholarship to 20 student studying in public universities and medical colleges with a view to assisting them in pursuing higher education successfully. Poor family families are unable to bear the cost of education of their wards in universities and colleges. However the meritorious students belonging to client families and participating in higher education from public universities and public medical colleges are being offered tk 3,000 (Three thousand) per month under MRA MFI higher education program. CCDB Microfinance Program spends an amount of tk. 7,20,000 (Seven lac twenty thousand) every out of its owns resource.
- CCDB Microfinance Program provided 8, 59,796 (Eight lac fifty nine thousand seven hundred ninety six) Tk education assistance to 134 students of SSC and HSC pass meritorious and poor families.
- Blanket Distribution: In the current financial year, blankets were distributed to 2,300 poor families at a cost of tk. 9, 33,966 (Nine lac thirty three thousand nine hundred sixty six) only. The money was spent from the surplus of the CCDB Microfinance Program.

Salient Features of Micro Finance Program
- Lower interest rate on loan: As against the maximum limit of 24 percent per annum set by the MRA, MFP currently charges 20- 23.35 percent, while most of the NGO MFIs charges 24 percent.
- Providing full rebate on early repayment loan: While most of the NGO MFIs of Bangladesh do not care to provide incentive for their clients in form of rebate for early payment of installments, CCDB Microfinance Program does not charge any service charges for collecting advance loans and only collects the principal loan amount.
- Collecting Social welfare fund at much lower rate: MFP Collects as low as 0.5 percent of disbursement made to its clients but most of the NGO MFIs collect at the rate of 1 percent, double that for MFP. Social welfare fund as used to adjust loan after the death of the borrower and Investors with loan outstanding. MFP dispenses the same service at the lower rate of collection from loaners.
- Sickness allowance for its members: MFP provides sickness allowance for its member-borrowers or for their spouses if she/ he contracts any serious diseases to the extent of BDT 5,000 to 20,000 from Member Welfare Fund.
- Financial Support for Disaster victim: If any of MFP members, are badly hit by a natural disaster such fire, cyclone, flood etc., s/he are provided with financial support amounting to 5,000 to 30,000 from Member Welfare Fund.
- Stipend: MFP provide education support program of its member spouses for SSC and HSC Students BDT 4,000 to 5,000 tk.
